KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES

- Knowledge of conduit bending of numerous sizes and bending apparatuses.
- Knowledge of pulling wire and terminating devices including switchboards, circuit breakers,
switches, transformers, and panels. - Knowledge of reading blueprints, electrical schematics, diagrams, instructions, and other
technical correspondences. - Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and how to research contents within.
- Knowledge of common tools used by electricians including hand and powered tools.
- Skilled in customer service, professionalism, and politeness.
- Skilled in working with a group of people to accomplish project deadlines and complex
environments. - Ability to demonstrate a focus on safety and wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as
safety glasses, gloves, hardhat, and other protective clothing. - Ability to negotiate ladders including climbing up/down and remain stationary while conducting
work. - Ability to negotiate scaffolds and other elevated platforms from numerous levels of height.
- Ability to have good visual acuity and be able to distinguish basic colors and shades of colors for
machine operations (including inspections), close assembly, clerical and administrative duties. - Ability to manipulate hand tools and other equipment with which may require both hands.
- Ability to stand continuously for a 10-hour shift and perform physically demanding activities to
must exert in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force
frequently and up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects - Ability to travel to project locations outside the normal area of operations which may require
overnight stay.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Makes safety the first priority and complies with all directives including OSHA, general contractors, company policies, and other state and local agencies.
- Plans, prepares, installs, troubleshoots, sustains, and maintenances a variety of electrical systems in accordance with the NEC, company processes, and other governing documents and compliance agencies.
- Bends and installs conduit and romex.
- Pulls wire and make terminations.
- Assist with and installs basic and advanced lighting and control systems.
- Maintenances and troubleshoots gas and diesel generators.
- Installs devices including switchboards, circuit breakers, switches, transformers, and panels.
- Maintains a safe and clean environment while maintaining accountability of equipment and
materials. - Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- None
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Performing work at various heights.
- Exposed to weather conditions depending on the location and time of year.
- Exposed to trenches, confined spaces, and restricted movement areas.
- Performing work on uneven terrain, unfinished building structures, and general construction
areas.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Repetitive motion of shoulders, arm, hands, wrists, and fingers.
- Lifting and maneuvering heavy objects up to 50lbs.
- Standing for long periods of time without sitting.

TRAVEL
- Travel is primarily local area of operations, however some extended travel including overnight may be required.
